The Game is built on truth..
What are the typical stereotypes of the game? I know that I and others thought that Pimps were deceitful slithering snakes who prey on women with low self esteem who come from broken homes. They are liars. This is the farthest thing from the truth. The game is actually based on truth. Now yes, there are pimps that are snakes and deceitful… remember, I told you about despicable pimps who beat up women and can even keep them drugged. But these kind of Pimps are despised by the statesmen in the game. Why? Because in their world,
A Pimp is the truth.
He is so much of the truth, that they look at us squares who sneak around and lie to women just to get another woman as unmanly. Did you hear that? What most of us squares do…lie to women just to get a girl is unmanly to a pimp. In Andre Taylor’s book, Road to paradise, he says:
“The pimp life taught me how to be a king and govern over men and women with truth. Well for example, if the average man has a wife or girlfriend and he wants to get involved with another woman, he lies and becomes deceitful to do so. In the pimp life this action is looked down upon- so much that if you do this, you wouldn’t be considered a pimp. It is considered weak and unmanly to hide in the shadows and allow fear or attraction to lesson and change who you say you are, just to get a woman. What a man should understand is that when a woman sees a man poised, unfazed and confident, he’s an attraction already no matter what he does or looks like. That’s why in the pimp life you may see some unattractive men with beautiful women.”
In the game, when he sits with a woman, he will eventually tell her what he’s about-He’s a Pimp. He wants her to know that he’s a pimp. And the only way to be with him, is in that dynamic. Being masters in the nature women, Pimps will tell you, that if a woman really likes you, it doesn’t matter what you do for a living. She has to like you. You have to give her a choice. A proper Pimp lets her know what she’s getting herself into. And my mentor and others will tell you, when you lie to a woman or operate in trickery and deceit with them, you will pay now or later. That’s what a Pimp is supposed to do, but you do have pimps who are deceitful, underhanded and operate in trickery. And eventually he will pay for it as karma for hurting a life by not being honest with her.
The game is built on truth. And to be honest, it has been my observation that in most societies of men, they will be honorable to their circle of peers…but they won’t be honest to their women. Sometimes he’ll have a whole other family on the side. And when he dies, the other family comes to the funeral. This is so unmanly in the world of a pimp. You compromised your manhood by lying to your woman for some pussy? Really? The game is based on truth. That’s why they don’t really respect the square world. We criticize them, but then sneak out in the dark to sleep with one of their women. Or the pastor is teaching one thing in the pulpit but is sleeping with the women in his church even though he’s married. This is unmanly to the game.
The Game is to be told, Not to be sold…
When I first started to read about the lifestyle, I’d hear the phrase, “The Game is to be sold, not to be told.” Many of the players, would speak in a poetic manner. I thought it was one of those sayings in the lifestyle. But it would take years for me to realize what this phrase meant. The answer to what this phrase meant was right in front of my face. Anyway, as I studied this lifestyle, I began to realize that I’d have to distill a lot of information just to get a few gems. I remember studying a particular legend in the game some years ago, I studied several hours of his YouTube lectures on the game. I even purchased a book on his life. And after a couple months of study, I only got half of page to a page of information. This recently happened to me again. I’d find that most of the players would tell you that they were going to tell you about the game, and then they’d masterly tell you a story about one of their accomplishments in the game. This happened over and over again. I finally came across a book that revealed why I kept coming across the same issues. The book revealed to me…
The game is to be sold, not to be told…
…because the game was in many ways a secret society. The game was secret knowledge that was used to finesse money out of the square world. It was also used to deal with women. The game was never written down. It was only revealed from mouth to ear. And a younger pimp would have to go and find knowledgeable pimps who’d share some of their knowledge with them.
I remember one elder pimp saying, that when he was younger, he remembers he and other young pimps sitting around an elder pimp, buying him drinks and cocaine while he gave them SOME of his game. A pimp usually had to gather knowledge bit by bit from where he could get it. And through time, he’d acquire this knowledge. Sometimes a woman would teach him and prep him to be a pimp if she saw potential in him. And sometimes, he’d be born into the lifestyle, so he’d get direct teachings.
I came to realize that sometimes it was dangerous to have an older pimp as a mentor. I remember reading about a younger pimp’s mentor stealing all of his women right from under his nose. Because when you’re women see that you’re being educated about the game by an elder statesmen, she can automatically begin to believe that you don’t know what you’re doing. And this can begin to set you up to get got. I remember in that story, the elder pimp saying that he was taking his student’s women as his fee for teaching him.
So the phrase means that this knowledge is to be exercised to gain profit…money. It is not to be taught to the public…the squares. Because if it is taught, it is not magical anymore. Think about it, you marvel at the magician because you don’t know how he does what he does. But as soon as you show the audience how you do your magic tricks, it’s not magical anymore. The public will stop coming because it’s not magic anymore. They will go and find another magician. You are not mysterious anymore. They must go and find someone else who is mysterious. This is why, you don’t reveal the game.
Pimp Protest…
My mentor said that when he revealed his first movie, “Master of the Game“, at a private viewing in California, to the execs, stars, regular people and Pimps, he noticed the Pimps began to walk out one by one. He thought they were going for a cigarette break. But they never returned. Later on when when he ran into some of the guys again, he asked them why did they leave. They said that they left because they felt as if he revealed too much of the game in his film. He automatically jokingly thought, “Damn were they going to picket me? A Pimp Protest?” He told them, that he didn’t reveal what they were doing. He only revealed some of the things that he was doing when he was active in the lifestyle. The women execs loved it, and told him that his movie empowered women.
The game is to be sold, not to be told. What am I saying? I’m saying, don’t waste your time reading most of these books. I’ve only found a couple books that revealed real information on the lifestyle. The rest of the books don’t really tell you any of the sacred knowledge from the game. Then many of the authors had deceitful and dark ways about themselves. As my mentor taught me, many of these guys may have had prior issues with their mothers or women.
In my square opinion, the only retired Pimp that holds nothing backs is my mentor…Andre Taylor. And quite honestly, he doesn’t teach you how to be a Pimp, he teaches you how to be a man. But he shows you through examples in his life how the information made him a giant in the lifestyle and how the same information is making him a giant as an activist. Of course, if you’re like some of my friends, you might not listen to me and decide to see for yourself if I am telling the truth on these books and lectures not sharing anything…be my guest and blow a few years of your life away. But trust me, you are wasting your time.
If you come across a player who’s out the game who says that he’ll give you the game, understand, that the new thing that he’s selling is not sex, but he’s selling you the allure of the game. The game is not to be told…it’s only to be sold my friend. He will begin by telling you, “I’m going to tell you about this game…” And at the end of the book or conversation, you’ll only get stories of his great accomplishments…but no knowledge. And if he gives you something, it will only be a couple of things. Trust me, I’ve studied this game for 20 plus years, the only person who gives you pure knowledge from the game is my mentor (or those who have been taught by him) or those who were in his circle. And as my mentor said one time, the Big Time guys live in the shadows and have no desire to come out into the public to reveal this knowledge. Why? Because the game is to be sold, not told.

How it all started- “Adam Where Are You?”
Who is Andre Taylor? I was first introduced to Andre Taylor around 19 years ago. A friend of mine introduced me to a profound interview of Mr. Taylor on some radio show. The lecture was named, “Adam, Where Are You?“. Andre Taylor’s moniker in the game was Gorgeous Dre. He was made famous to the square world when he starred in a documentary called, “American Pimp“.
Many have said that he stole the show in this documentary because while other Pimps spoke about their past accomplishments in pimping, he spoke about manhood. He spoke about it with such passion, that many individuals who saw the documentary were forever impacted by it. But at the end of the documentary, he was fighting a case that could have given him life in prison. He fought the case and only received 3 years in prison. People are still impacted by him in that documentary.
As soon as the radio interview opened up, the female interviewer was apparently already physically attracted to him. In my opinion, by the end of the interview, she was ready to go with him if he wasn’t already married or interested in her. He fascinated me because this was my first time seeing humanity in the lifestyle. And not only was their humanity, I saw many of the principles that I saw in the scriptures and heard coming from the mouths of many spiritual teachers.
To be honest, I thought that many of these spiritual teachers couldn’t understand that the women of today were different from the women of their day. They were indepe
ndent now and infected to some degree by feminism. I felt that many ideas and principles had to be updated to deal with this modern and feminist woman. But what I saw was a man, who was in the lifestyle, using the same wisdom on the worst of women and impacting their lives to becoming great women. I saw women, crying because they still loved and admired him, even though he was out of the lifestyle and married. Those were not crocodile tears…I’ve loved women and women have loved me…I know what love looks like…and I’ve had women cry for me like that because they loved me deeply and I genuinely loved them deeply. Those women loved him deeply.
He commanded this emotion from the worst of women…and these women haven’t been with him for years and they still loved him like this. Amazing. And he wasn’t using anything new, he was using time tested wisdom from scripture. I would later realize that he was a master of the nature of men…and women. Being that he was taught by a master (his father Mel Taylor) and had immersed himself in the lifestyle for 10 years, he had a thorough understanding of the nature of women and what they needed at the core. They needed a man…
So being that I’m a “show me person”, after seeing the testimony from those women and his first wife, I said to myself if he can do that with street women and a square woman (his first wife), then I need to learn his philosophy so that I can never fail again as I failed in my previous marriage.
Who Is Andre Taylor?
My mentor, Andre Taylor was born of a Pimp and a Prostitute. He grew up in the inner linings of the game. Not only did he grow up in the game, he grew up under one of the most respectable Players in the game, Melvin Taylor. Melvin Taylor was a true gentleman of leisure and his circle of friends were great Pimps themselves. In Melvin’s time, younger Pimps sat with him to receive guidance from him. Even today, even though he (Melvin Taylor) has passed away, he is still regarded as a legend, and his name is sacred in the game. He was not only a Player in the game, he also was an author.
Andre’s father never wanted him to be a pimp. He wanted him to be a criminal attorney. Being that he grew up around the lifestyle, he didn’t want to be a part of it. He wanted the simple life as a regular square…a wife and some children. But that’s not what happened. Circumstances in life happened to him, and the next thing he knew, he was in the game. He would be involved in the lifestyle for approximately 10 years and he grew to be a giant in the game in his era…a master of the game.
A Pimp is a Renaissance Man
What Andre saw on tv of what pimps were supposed to be was not what he saw at home. He didn’t see guys wearing big hats, loud colors, distasteful jewelry with a mouth full of nursery rhymes. He didn’t even see clowns like Iceberg Slim. His father wore business suits. His father quoted Shakespeare. His father was well read and was a true gentleman. And his circle was the same. His father and friends would converse on, and debate intellectually to see who was the sharpest. The vied each other in intelligence and class. They were what Pimps were considered to be…Renaissance men.
Gentleman of Leisure was another name for the men in this lifestyle. Many forget that one single word that was the cornerstone of a pimp…Gentleman. He was to conduct himself as a gentleman. And what is a gentleman? A gentleman is a MAN who conducts himself with class and sophistication. This was the type of men in his father’s time and generations before his father that Pimps typically were. Times have changed. The new generation have forgotten these ways. Not only have they forgotten, but gangbangers and others have entered the lifestyle. They are the antithesis of the game. They brought the gangbanging ways into the lifestyle…violence. And they weren’t taught the game. The relationships have been lost…they are like the others all around the world.
His Game….
When I really understood how big Gorgeous Dre was in the game, I realized that I was looking at what was described in The Pimp bible as a King Pimp. He was over the heads of the regular pimps in his era. Dre’s women charged one thousand dollars an hour. If you wanted to spend the day with one of his women, it was ten thousand dollars a day. If you wanted to spend the week with one of his women, it would cost you one hundred thousand dollars.
In American Pimp, Dre said that you may have a beautiful woman, but because you haven’t taught her anything, she can only get fifty to eighty dollars for a flat back. It’s not about her beauty, it’s about her education on how to seduce a man. Dre only dealt with women who had class and sophistication. He only dealt with women on this level because the women in his stable, had the class, sophistication, and power of seduction to be around prominent men, intellectual men and men who were financially well off. And to be in the same environment as this type of man, she had to be sharp. So the prostitutes that I saw in Miami, weren’t fit to be around these types of men. The escorts that Donald Trump and others pay for, are the same. They are trained to be around these type of men. So they command a high price. Many times, a man is paying to just be around her. And if sex happens, that’s between them. But he must pay for her time and presence. And these men will pay. He pays for her to stay and he pays for her to leave. As a friend of mine said, “The reason why a man pays for a woman, is for her to leave when she’s done.”
She may have had class and some level of sophistication, but Dre had to give her the game. And this would take 6 months to a year of teaching and training. But after she received and embodied this knowledge, she could command this type of money from men. This is what made him a king in the game. A master of the game. And today he is a legend.
The House of Taylor-Taylor Philosophy
In a lecture Dre recorded on YouTube, he mentioned that there are many good pastors who are good at being pastors, but they are bad at being men. There are musicians, and stars who are at the elite level…the people love them and listen to them for advice…but they are bad at being men. He also mentioned that there are pimps who are good at pimping, but they are bad at being men. It took me a long time to understand what he meant by that.
What did he mean by that? Well as I’ve been enlightened by my mentor, and as I restudied his lectures and writings, I now see deeper concerning what he meant in his teachings. Specifically, I now understand what he meant by these males being great in their chosen field…but they were bad at being men…
In the documentary, “American Pimp”, some of the women said that they were taken advantage of by some of the pimps. They said that some of these pimps were manipulators and only cared about the money on many occasions. It was obvious that some of these women were hurt by being with some of these guys. That’s when it became clear to me. They may have had some level success in the lifestyle, but because they never understood what manhood was, they would never become as great as they could become.
Dre’s father taught him, that living the fundamentals of manhood would make him a giant in anything that he pursued in life. These guys were good pimps, but bad at being men. And because they couldn’t separate the two, they couldn’t see the error of their ways. Dre has always said, that he can bring women from 20 plus years ago that could testify of the man that he was. And I’ve seen these women. Can those guys in the game do the same? Because the game was built on truth…the pimps say it (say the phrase)…but many really don’t understand what they are saying. And because Dre was taught by his father what manhood was, it made him a giant in the game. Such a giant that all of those women have respect and love for him and will always come forward to testify of his character. And that’s why he was so successful in that life.
The game is built on truth. There is no deceit or underhandedness in this game- specifically with his women. Because to lie to a woman denigrates your position as a Pimp. To lie to a woman denigrates your position as a man. It means that you’re afraid of a woman, to the extent that you’re will to compromise your manhood as a man. Squares lie to their women. A pimp is to be the truth…so there should be no reason to lie to her. There is no reason to be deceitful with her. He’s not easily swayed or manipulated by her ways.
He is not manipulated by the pussy she sells everyday. Because he is not swayed by the powers of her womb, he can’t be manipulated by her her ways. He’s immune to her powers. But to a lot of those pimps, money and material things were the priority…not principles. So it was easy for them to be deceitful to the woman…and not be the man, who is loyal to his principles. So he ended up crushing a life.
They may have been good at being pimps…but they were bad at being men. And the Taylor philosophy highlights this flaw in most males.
Life After the Game…
As Mr. Taylor was getting out of the lifestyle, he caught a case. He was facing life in prison, and fought the case and ended up with only a three year prison term. Today, he is a life coach with a clientele that spans from the commoner such as myself to Hollywood stars, business leaders and others.
His life made an abrupt change in 2016 when the Seattle Police murdered his brother, Che Taylor. After a gun was planted on his brother’s dead body, Andre realized that it was time for him to do something about this police brutality that has been an issue in the black, brown and red communities all throughout the country for decades. And now the police brutality is even impacting the white sector of our country. Through his persistence and focus, he has helped change things in Seattle Washington. He has helped to ensure the police department more accountable for their actions.
Mr. Taylor has completed step one of change and plans to influence the whole country with his “Not This Time” movement. What he learned from his father on manhood, and what he learned after surviving the streets for ten years, prepared him for this assignment that he was obviously born to fulfill. This game is so powerful, that it can make you a giant in anything you decide to involve yourself in.
